In the Faraj Fund, we seek to achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership and its sound directives in alleviating the suffering of the inmates of penal and correctional institutions and their families, by providing assistance to five categories, including inmates who are unable to pay civil debts, inmates who are unable to pay the value of the legal blood money, and inmates who are unable to pay the value of the legal blood money. For paying court fees and judicial belongings, and families of inmates who are unable to provide the necessities of life in the absence of the main breadwinner.
Achieving aspirations in spreading the concept of helping others as a civilized and human value and consolidating it constantly in the society of the UAE is one of our top priorities in our continuous price associated with supporting the values of happiness and tolerance, especially for indigent guests and their families, by applying an advanced strategy that focuses on implementing the directives of the wise leadership in anticipating the future. And developing work methods, collecting donations, implementing charitable campaigns and field visits to the families of inmates, and alleviating their living burdens, hoping to achieve more successes in the fund’s journey, which has witnessed successive developments since its establishment.
Under the patronage and guidance of HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Faraj Fund was established through Ministerial Decree No 300 for the year 2009 from the Minister of Social Affairs to give priority assistance to Indigent Inmates, Inmate's Families
To fund humanitarian work, supporting the insolvent inmates burdened with debt and financial commitments.
Providing humanitarian assistance to inmates incinerated in Penal and Correctional Institutions due to their financial debts, settled through innovative ways in monetary and in-kind donations.
